Summer Party Part Two

Twenty-nine attended the summer party dinner--a marvelous turnout! I certainly hated to miss this event but was visiting my daughter in Houston--a good trade-off, of course.

Winners included the following "foursomes":
1st place: Susan and Steve Kanouse, Norma Meek and Ron Willenbrink
2nd place (tie): The foursome of Karen and Eddie Radjunas, Jacque Brownstead, and Ron Ray tied with Heather Van Deren, Brent Clark, Wes Crawford, and a blind draw partner (Margaret Stroth)

Closest to the pin (ladies): Robin Webb on hole #12
Closest to the pin (men): Eddie Radjunas on #3
Longest drive (women): Tammy Wall on #14
Longest drive (men): Keith Lewis on #18

The picture to the left is the old Men's League Champioship plaque that they are no longer using and have given to the LGA. They will have it refurbished any way we wish and will put the first brass winner plate on it for us. Nice, huh? As we decided at our recent LGA meeting, last year's champion Debbie Lewis' name will be first on the plaque. We didn't, however, discuss how we would like the plaque to look. As you see a large amount of space is taken up with a facsimile of a trophy. George Arnold seems to believe that we could remove that and add anything we wish, even a picture of a particular hole, our memorial bridge, or the like.

I need input on this...FAST! The curved part at the top just says: Bellefonte CC Men's Champions (my paraphrase!). We will of course title it to fit our champioship. Please express thoughts and ideas to me via email, Facebook, or this blog ASAP!  We need to get moving on this!
